DISCOVER WHAT'S OUT THERE

  • Visit the nearby Salt Face Mule Brewing Co for some local beer and 36 holes of mini golf.
  • During the winter season, take the whole family to Zip N Slip Snow Tubing for a tubular time. 
  • Meander through the Asheville Botanical Garden’s half-mile trail featuring 600+ species of Appalachian plants and dip your toes in the creek or relax on its bank.
  • There’s so much to do among the Biltmore Estates’ 8,000 acres, with events for every season. Tour the expansive estate and grounds, enjoy a tasting at the Biltmore Winery, dine in at one of its many eateries, relax at the spa, take the family to Pisgah playground and the barnyard and so much more! 
  • Explore the North Carolina Arboretum’s various trails, exhibits and gardens. A great, dog-friendly place to enjoy nature, the Arboretum lights up for the winter season.
  • Visit the Asheville Pinball Museum with 40 pinball machines and 40 classic video games. 
  • Explore the Western North Carolina Nature Center, an outdoor experience with a variety of animals and play areas. 
  • Tour the Asheville Art Museum’s many exhibits.

  • Zip on over to The Adventure Center of Asheville for ropes courses, zip lining and other kid-friendly activities. 
  • If you have your pet(s) with you – take a trip to the nearby Wag Bar for play and refreshments.
  • Explore the charming small town of Weaverville, NC, with various historical sites, outdoor activities, vibrant arts scene, and breweries.
  • Hike the 2.1-mile out-and-back Catawba Falls River Trail, a relatively flat hike to visit Catawba Waterfall.
  • Enjoy game night out at Well Played Board Game Café with hundreds of board games for all age levels.
